Maskaev wins by knockout

Russian super heavyweight Oleg Maskaev defeated David Vedder by technical knockout in the 6th round of the rating fight.

The fight took place in Reno, Nevada, and was stopped on the second minute of the round six. Several minutes before Maskaev knocked Vedder down with a series of strikes. The referee decided to continue the fight but David remained groggy and the fight was stopped. The advantage of our fighter who is living in New York was evident in the previous five rounds both according to the spectators' and judges' opinion.

Thus 32-uear old fighter's record is the following: 22 victories (17 by knockout), 4 losses.
