Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championship is over in Patras (Greece). Russian team won golden medal (Alexander Bezruchkin, up to 97 kg) and two silver medals. |
Two Russians participated in yesterday's fights. Unfortunately both of them were defeated. Alexey Glushkov (up to 69 kg) couldn't oppose Filiberto Azcuy from Cuba (4:0). In the category up to 85 kg Alexander Menshikov fought with Alexander Daragan (Ukraine). After 6 minutes of the main time they had equal score - 2:2, but during additional time Ukrainian sportsman managed to defeat Menshikov. |
